a break from the big city crowds. Interlaken is absolutley beautiful and is nestled between two lakes connected by a small river. This is the only place I’ve been that ranks higher than Colorado in terms of having experiencing a wide variety of outdoor activities in an inspiring environment. Our hotel is traditional, which is nice but the computer here is also traditional (old) and doesn’t agree with our camera. In a way it’s a good thing because we’ve taken a lot of good pics so far and it would be hard to select only a few. We’ll post a link to all the pics when we get back to the US or maybe from Rome. Tomorrow morning we head by train to Zermatt to see the Matterhorn!

Mon, 23 Jun 2008 10:57:12 Blanc. Despite being my first time we made it quite a ways down the river and were able to spend some time at the Victoria Arms pub and picnic gardens. Of course that meant a pint of Fullers for me and more wine for Andrea. ;)

Tue, 17 Jun 2008 16:39:05
